A life-long sailor with 25+ years in the boating industry, some of the diverse companies I've work for include well known brands such Catalina Yachts, Offshore Sailing School and West Marine.  I've also been employed by specialty builders such as Arey's Pond Boatyard as well as few select brokerage houses and service yards on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts.  

My merits include certification in ABYC standards (American Boat and Yacht Council), advanced product knowledge / technical study at West Marine (Tech 12 status) as well as on-site factory training at Harken Yacht Equipment's Peewaukee, WI home location.

 

As a mobile mechanic, some of my favorite systems to work with are electrical, rigging and small diesel engines.  I have professional relationships with many OEM vendors as well as resale / affiliation with quality sailmakers, hardware manufacturers and cushions / canvas craftsmen.  I also design and build custom electrical panels and make informative technical videos. 

 

I love to travel and have raced as well as given presentations at various yacht clubs around the world.  Have wrenches will travel.
