• As denoted with crossed out pricing, some products require a non-refundable / non-transferable deposit of 50% deposit to secure the order.  Sailing is largely a seasonal pastime and this policy reflects this consideration as a contract and a promise.  Crossed out pricing is done as a billing tool only.  No overall discount is implied nor should any be expected.  Orders must be paid in full within 30 days of completion.  Final payment is to be done via Paypal.   You will be billed.

• For your convenience, all shipments are sent requesting a direct signature and a tracking number sent when available... usually via FedEx.  Shortages and damage therefore be received in writing within 3 days of receipt.

• Once you sign for the package, claims for damage or shortage must be made by the consignee (YOU) to the shipping company as soon as the damage or shortage is discovered.  We are neither responsible for nor are in a position to make a claim after you have signed for the shipment from us.   It's a good idea to always count your boxes and/or items and not just sign for boxes / pallets without checking the contents.  On bigger items, it's also not a bad idea to pick up your items from the shipping depot so you have ample time to inspect the goods / immediately file a claim with the carrier.

• Sailing is an elected pastime that involves acquired skill and calculated risk in order to properly use marine equipment and have a safe journey.  With except to Gaurhauer marine branded hardware which has a 10 year limited warranty, all products listed here come with a one year workmanship warranty to their original owner only.  No subrogation.  Liability is limited to replacement of the merchandise or the invoice value of material claimed to be defective.  3rd party repairs done during the warranty period especially should not be expected to be reimbursed without prior mutual agreement. 

• Not responsible for lay days or loss of charter income.

• Sorry but no International shipping at this time.

• Depending on the item requested, more information may be required to fill your order so please be sure to provide a manned daytime phone number... not just an email.
